International Convention
As every well-versed Key Clubber knows, Key Club International is the world’s largest and oldest student-led service organization. With more than 280,000 teen-aged members from all over the world, it’s easy to see why we are the largest organization. So where does the world’s largest service organization meet? Why, Key Club International Convention of course!
International Convention is a semi-formal convention with a focus on district-level communication. This multi-cultural convention is in a different U.S. city every year, and it takes place in a large hotel or combination of hotels and convention centers. Key Club members from almost forty countries are invited to come for a week of fun-filled activities and service opportunities. Typically, there is a service walk at International Convention, along with several service projects and many informational forums that provide all attendees with ideas and inspiration to improve their home clubs. The ‘big deal’ about International Convention is being able to elect the new International Board of Trustees and see the retirement of the immediate past International Board on the last night of convention.
At International Convention, Key Clubbers have the rare opportunity to interact with teenagers of different cultural backgrounds who share the common goal of improving the world. Key Clubbers can also bond with club members from their own district during the district tours; no matter what city International Convention is in, there is always the guarantee of historical monuments, family fun centers, and many other unforgettable adventures. Over the course of one week, Key Clubbers can make innumerable friendships that will last a lifetime. Your week at International Convention is certain to be filled with the perfect combination of service, leadership, learning, and excitement.

Fall Rally
You've probably heard by now that Key Clubbers can get a little crazy when it comes to enthusiasm for service. Well the rumors are true, and we’ve got the photos to prove it! For a true Key Clubber, there is nothing better to be excited about than serving others, improving the world, and being a model for today’s youth. Now, if you’re like us, then you cannot wait for the next opportunity to show your Key Club spirit and show off your awesome cheers. Well, have no fear! Fall Rally is here for that exact purpose!
Fall Rally is usually called the ‘pep rally for Key Club’, and what a fitting title! Key Clubs from all over the district are invited to come and participate in the weekend fun in Charleston. Fall Rally is an informal, two-day convention that focuses on building personal leadership and teamwork through group exercises and games. It is also the first convention of the year that the new district board gets to lead, which makes for exciting interactions between club members and officers.
Everyone in Key Club stands to gain by attending Fall Rally. Club Officers get ideas for icebreakers, learn how to work together better, and bond while spending the weekend together. Club members can gain self-confidence, leadership skills, teamwork skills, and a better understanding of Key Club. Members who are new to Key Club get their first look at the hierarchy of Key Club, gain a better understanding of the way our organization works, and really get the feel for how big and exciting Key Club really is. The informal and fun atmosphere of the weekend also invites club members to see Key Club in a different light; the energy is a stark contrast to the typically bland settings of the average Key Club meeting.
So talk to your club members, get them pumped up, and head on down to Fall Rally this autumn! Click here to watch a recap of a Fall Rally for a few years ago!

District Convention
District Convention is a three-day annual convention with the purpose of educating club members, training club officers, and electing a new District Board of Trustees. There are informal events, such as the Key Club dance, and formal events, such as forums and caucusing. Over these three days, individuals are praised for dedication, clubs are recognized for achievements, and delegates are elected into office. There is free time, entertainment, motivational speakers, and stories about the famous ‘Key Club Moment’s
District Convention is the ultimate definition of Key Club, with its informal and fun-loving attitude mixed with the formal atmosphere of responsibility. And who ever said we couldn’t have both? You will get the best of all things Key Club related at District Convention. Club members can attend informational forums to learn about Key Club and swap ideas with clubs from other divisions. Club officers and interested club members can attend forums to be trained in their respective positions and learn new organization skills and management tips.
One of the most important parts of District Convention is caucusing, voting, and installing the new District Board of Trustees. Students just like you and I run for offices on the board, make speeches, and answer your questions. Then each school will cast votes for candidates in the position of Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Governor, and several others. On the last day, the new board is installed, and a fresh set of faces are ready to take on the challenges of leading a new Key Club year. Awards are given for everything from service hours to best poster to best club video. There are a hundred ways to win an award, so watch for packets from our District Administrator if you want to enter your club in a contest!
